What are boxer braids?
They are braids woven close to the scalp from the forehead to the nape. I braid kanekalon in with the full-cover method: your hair is hidden inside, and the braid is even and smooth along its whole length.

What the visit looks like
- ConsultationYou send a photo of your hair and some inspiration, and we agree on the number of braids, colour and length.
- BraidingAbout 2 hours (2 braids), 3–4 hours (6–8 braids), 5–6 hours (10 braids); a ponytail takes 2–4 hours.
- AftercareYou get a short guide on sleeping and scalp care.
Frequently asked questions
Usually 1–3 weeks. It is individual — it depends on your hair and the number of braids.
At least about 7–10 cm. If it is shorter, send me a photo.
Yes, from 4 years old.
It should not. For the first 2–3 days your scalp may feel slightly tight — that is normal and passes quickly.
With short wear they are usually not washed. If your scalp itches, wipe the partings with a cotton pad and Octenisept or chamomile tea.
In a smooth satin or silk cap.
Wash it the day before with shampoo only — no masks or conditioner — and dry it thoroughly.
Do not exceed the wearing time, and book unbraiding in advance. If you do it yourself: 1) unbraid, removing the kanekalon strands; 2) slightly dampen your hair so it straightens out; 3) once it is dry, comb it thoroughly — the hair that shed naturally while wearing the style will come out; 4) wash your hair.
