Boxer braids, also known as Dutch feeds or feed-in braids, are two or more braids woven close to the scalp from the hairline all the way to the nape. To achieve rich volume and length, premium-quality synthetic kanekalon hair is added during braiding. At my home studio in Gdańsk (Chełm district), I ensure that synthetic braids are crafted with precision, durability, and complete safety for your natural hair.

How does the braiding process work at KSBraid?

The entire braiding process takes place in a cozy, relaxed atmosphere and follows a few simple steps:

• Consultation & Material Selection: Before we begin, we select the shade, length, and amount of kanekalon hair to match your vision.
• Hair Preparation: Your natural hair is carefully detangled and divided into clean, precise sections.
• Gentle Braiding: I braid the kanekalon using a technique that firmly holds the style without straining your hair roots. The process typically takes between 2 to 5 hours.

How to care for Boxer Braids?

Caring for boxer braids is remarkably simple:

• Wear Time: Synthetic boxer braids are typically worn for 3 to 25 days, depending on your natural hair growth speed and texture.
• Night Protection: To prevent frizzing while sleeping, we recommend wearing a smooth satin or silk bonnet (or scarf).
• Scalp Care: Due to the short wear period, boxer braids are usually not washed. If needed, gently dab your scalp along the partings using a cotton pad with mild toner.
• Unbraiding: Removing the braids is fast and painless. Once unbraided, thoroughly comb out your dry hair before washing it.
